DESCRIPTION:
Joseph Johnson, 25 Church St, Liverpool high grade 14J key wind key set swing out gilt movement with lever escapement, fusee, gold balance wheel, diamond endstone and dust cover in 18K YG hunting case. The Roman numeral porcelain dial is inscribed in two colors with maker's details, s#15766 49mm 126.5g TW c1820
CONDITION:
GRO (winds, sets and ticks), the movement in excellent condition with only a few microfine scratches. The very heavy case is in fair condition with 80% of the engine turning worn smooth and a few minor crinkles and dings. The dial is delicately and finely decorated and signed and is in excellent condition with no hairlines. The bow and stem are both engraved.
